6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic totaled 27 points during Monday’s defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers, finishing 10-for-23 from the floor overall, the most shots he has taken in a contest during his outstanding rookie campaign. Doncic also added eight rebounds and two assists to round out his stat line, bouncing back from his six-point outing versus the Lakers back on Nov. 30. Doncic has now logged at least eight rebounds in four consecutive games and after a four-game string of performances below 20 points, the Slovenian rookie snapped that streak to bring his total up to 19.6 points per game on the season through his first 39 contests.--Jesse Borek
