6 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki is unlikely to suit up against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday due to an illness. Nowitzki continues to play on through the season, but he is simply not getting enough run off the Dallas bench (9.9 minutes per game) to be worthy of fantasy consideration during his age-40 campaign. His absence would free up more minutes for Dwight Powell and Maximilian Kleber, with his next chance to return coming Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.--Jesse Borek
