6 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Iman Shumpert is questionable to make his return to action Thursday against the Detroit Pistons due to a sprained right index finger. Shumpert has missed the past three games, forcing bench ace Bogdan Bogdanovic into the starting five. Shumpert has been a consistent starter in his first year with Sacramento for the first time since 2013-14 as a member of the Knicks, delivering 9.3 points per game in 2018-19. Detroit boasts a stingy perimeter defense for opposing three-point shooters, limiting them to the league’s lowest shooting percentage (31.8) this season.--Jesse Borek
