6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Cameron Payne is playing like a man who wants to stick around after his current 10-day contract. Payne went for 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting, including 3-for-5 from deep during Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. After collecting 10 points in his Cavs debut Tuesday, Payne has been a source of instant offense for a Cleveland club looking to develop. For now, Payne isn’t up for fantasy consideration due to his contract status, but should he stick around with his current club, his ability to score the ball might make him a deep league option.--Jesse Borek
