6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has his status up in the air for Friday’s game versus the Atlanta Hawks due to an ankle injury that he aggravated Wednesday against Washington. Embiid has missed two games this season, with the most recent seeing Philadelphia blown out in a 34-point defeat. Head coach Brett Brown would have to get creative with his rotations, but it’s possible Mike Muscala and Amir Johnson could see bigger roles at the five if Embiid is in fact held back.--Jesse Borek
