6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis was dominant once again as he racked up his 13th straight double-double with 30 points and 14 rebounds to go along with two assists and one block in Saturday's 110-106 loss to the Timberwolves. The 25-year-old was 10-for-22 from the field and 2-for-5 from beyond the arc. His three turnovers were his most since Dec. 19. He has now scored 30 or more points in four of his last five games, averaging 31.6 points along with 15.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.6 blocks, and 1.8 steals in January. Davis will look to continue this strong play on Monday against the Clippers. The seventh-year pro is averaging 28.5 points, 13 caroms, 3.5 assists, four blocks, and two steals in two games versus the Clips this year.--Daniel Benjamin
