Rudy Gobert Sets Season High With Eight Assists
6 years agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert showed off all of his talents in Saturday's win over the Bulls as he compiled 12 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and one steal. The 26-year-old was 5-for-6 from the field and 5-for-9 from the free throw line. It was his fourth double-double in a row and 35th on the season, which is four more than all of last season. He set season highs in both assists and turnovers (five). After failing to bring in double-digit rebounds in the first two games of the month, the 26-year-old has come up with 10 or more rebounds in each of his last five contests. Gobert has a good matchup against Andre Drummond and the Pistons on Monday. The 7-foot-1 Frenchman, who has scored in double-figures in each of his last four contests, totaled nine points along with 11 rebounds, three assists and one block in the first meeting versus Detroit.
