6 years agoOrlando Magic center Mohamed Bamba will remain on the bench for Sunday’s contest versus the Houston Rockets due to a sore left foot. Bamba’s absence marks his third consecutive game in street clothes, with Khem Birch largely absorbing Bamba’s minutes. The 20-year-old Bamba has shown flashes in his limited minutes this season, but with Nikola Vucevic playing at an All-Star level, the opportunity to play enough where Bamba could garner serious fantasy consideration has not been there. His next chance to return to the floor comes Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.--Jesse Borek
