6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge snapped his stretch without a double-double during Monday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets, finishing with 28 points and 10 rebounds. It was back on Dec. 17 that Aldridge had recorded his last double-double prior to Monday, even with prominent scoring barrages (including a career-high 56 points) mixed in. He had it all working from the floor Monday, finishing 11-for-17 overall, knocking down all six of his free throws and adding four assists for a monster performance. Next on his plate is a showdown with the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, whom he is averaging 21.6 points per game against for his career, his second-most of any opponent.--Jesse Borek
