6 years agoThe Houston Rockets and small forward Danuel House failed to reach a contract agreement on Tuesday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. House is out of his allotment of NBA service days on his two-way contract, so after failing to come together on an agreement, it appears he will return to Rio Grande Valley of the G-League, perhaps for the remainder of the season. The team is expected to make a short-term roster fix by plucking a player off the waiver wire and signing them to a 10-day contract. It not be the end of the world for Houston, as Eric Gordon (bruised left knee) could return and fill House's roll in the starting lineup as soon as Wednesday.--Daniel Dobish
