6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook had arguably his best performance of the season Tuesday and it came in defeat to the Atlanta Hawks. Westbrook compiled 31 points on 10-for-21 shooting, adding 11 assists, six rebounds and five steals while turning the ball over just twice during 36 minutes. The performance marked his fifth consecutive double-double and seventh 30-plus-point outing in 2018-19. The league’s leader in both assists (10.6) and steals (2.6) per game has seen his scoring taken an overall dip this year, but he is always one game away of a reminder of what makes him one of the elite fantasy weapons.
