Klay Thompson Makes 13 Of 19 From The Floor For 31 Points
6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson (13 points) along with Stephen Curry (12) and Kevin Durant (17) combined for 42 of the team's record-setting 51 first-quarter points as the Dubs blew out the Nuggets Tuesday night. Thompson finished with 31 points on 13-for-19 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc. The 28-year-old added three rebounds, one assist and three steals in 25 minutes. It was his fourth 30-point game in the last eight outings. He is currently shooting the ball the best that he has this season, making 55.4 percent of his shots overall and 46.7 percent of his three-point attempts this month while averaging 27.7 points a game along with 4.7 triples. Thompson and the Warriors face the Pelicans on Wednesday. The eighth-year pro tallied 18 points, four assists and four rebounds in the first meeting this season against New Orleans.
