Bismack Biyombo Posts Second Straight Double-Double
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Bismack Biyombo racked up 10 points, 12 rebounds (five offensive) and one block over 24 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Pacers. The 26-year-old was 3-for-5 from the field and 4-for-5 from the charity stripe. It was his third double-double of the season, and second in the last two games. He now has hauled in double-digit rebounds in three of his last five and four of nine. The eighth-year pro has been playing better since being inserted in the starting lineup eight games ago, averaging seven points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in just 21.6 minutes. As a result of him splitting time with Willy Hernangomez at the five position, Biyombo is only a viable play in deeper fantasy leagues, and DFS play as well as an occasional streaming option, however, if he continues putting up double-doubles that may change.
