6 years agoWashington Wizards center Thomas Bryant posted 11 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, one block and two turnovers in Monday's victory over the Pistons. The second-year pro was 5-for-9 from the field and 1-for-2 from the free throw line. It was his fifth double-double of the season and the sixth time that he has hauled down double-digit boards. While the 21-year-old has seen his minutes fluctuate quite a bit, he has shown significant improvement as the season has progressed. The Indiana product is averaging 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 67.3 percent from the field in just 18.8 minutes since Dec. 1. Bryant will look to extend his double-figure scoring streak to five straight games and 13 of 16 versus the Warriors on Thursday.--Daniel Benjamin
