6 years agoMiami Heat center Hassan Whiteside went for 22 points and 16 rebounds in Wednesday's 111-99 loss against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers. He was a very efficient 10-for-13 from the field and he added two assists with a steal and a blocked shot. While he was just 2-for-5 from the free-throw stripe while turning it over four times, this performance was much better than the stinker he threw up in Monday's 107-99 loss in Boston when he had just six points and eight rebounds. The 22 points were his most since hanging 23 on the Utah Jazz back on Dec. 2. Next up is a trip to Cleveland on Friday against their soft middle, so Whiteside could shine again.--Daniel Dobish
