6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid finished with 33 points and 19 rebounds across 37 minutes in Wednesday's 122-120 victory against the San Antonio Spurs. He was a beast down low, hitting a very efficient 13-for-28 from the field, while also going deep for a pair of triples. He added three assists and a blocked shot while also going 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. Embiid is in very good company, joining Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain as the only player in franchise history with at least 20 games of 30-plus points and 10-plus rebounds before the All-Star break.--Daniel Dobish
