6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr. scored an efficient 19 points on Friday when he connected on eight of 14 shooting in the tight win over the Pistons. Smith Jr. also distributed five assists with two rebounds and added two makes from three in 36 minutes of action. Smith Jr. has been great since returning to the Mavs lineup and in two games is putting up 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. If this type of production can continue for the second-year guard, we could see a solid turnaround from Smith Jr. the rest of the way.--Gianni Costantiello
