6 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward/center Mason Plumlee turned in one of his best performances of the season in Friday's win over the Suns with 16 points, seven rebounds six assists along and one steal. The sixth-year pro was 6-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. He made the 12th start of the season, although it was his first time in the starting lineup since Jan. 5, as Nikola Jokic served a one-game suspension for leaving the bench area during a skirmish versus the Jazz on Wednesday. With Jokic expected to be back in the lineup against the 76ers on Saturday, the 6-foot-11 big man will once again come off the bench and likely see his usual 15-to- 20 minutes of action.--Daniel Benjamin
