Kemba Walker Suffers Neck Sprain
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker suffered a neck sprain late in the fourth quarter of Charlotte's loss to the Bucks on Friday. With 2:06 remaining in the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Walker collided during a scrum following Antetokounmpo's block of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's shot. There has been no timetable given for how long the 2019 All-Star selection will be out. Walker finished the game with 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals over 35 minutes. He was just 3-for-12 from the field, 1-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. It was his lowest scoring night since tallying just four points on December 15.
