6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr. connected on just six of 13 shooting on Sunday to score 13 points in the close loss to the Raptors. Smith Jr. did manage to fill out the score sheet as he added six assists with four boards and added a steal with a block and a make from three. Coach Carlisle had some positive things to say and emphasized after the game that he and Luka Doncic can indeed co-exist. The second-year guard has put up 16.3 points, 5.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds on 42.6% shooting from the floor in his three games since returning to his squad.--Gianni Costantiello
