6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins was held in check by the tenacious Memphis Grizzlies defensive unit during Wednesday’s contest to the tune of 4-for-19 from the floor. Wiggins amassed 41 minutes, finishing with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists, which salvaged his overall line, but the 21.1 percent shooting performance remains gaudy nonetheless. He remains a key piece for Minnesota, but Wiggins is shooting a career-worst 39.6 percent from the field this season. He looks to rebound Saturday versus Denver, whom he is averaging 20.5 points per game against for his career.--Jesse Borek
