6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell continued his hot stretch on Thursday against the Spurs with a 25-point performance, while adding nine assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block to his account. He shot 10-for-26 from the field and 2-for-7 from deep in 33 minutes on the floor. Russell looked superb in January, getting 23.8 points per game with 7.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds. He shot 41.3 percent from downtown. The Nets face Orlando next against whom Russell had a couple of outstanding performances last month, averaging 32.5 points and 8.5 assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
