6 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Luke Kornet will make his return to the court for Friday’s contest versus the Boston Celtics, having missed his club’s previous five contests due to a sprained left ankle. Kornet has started nine of the last 10 games he has appeared in, and is likely to continue seeing an increased workload in the frontcourt alongside Mitchell Robinson. Kornet’s return likely kills any value Enes Kanter had in the short-term, although it will be interesting to see how head coach David Fizdale handles Kornet’s minutes once DeAndre Jordan suits up for New York.--Jesse Borek
