6 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic went for 31 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists during Friday’s victory over the Houston Rockets, narrowly missing out on his second consecutive triple-double and third in last four games. In a season chock full of elite performances, Jokic’s showing Friday was one of his best, turning the ball over just twice in 31 minutes, while shooting 12-for-15 from the floor and 6-for-6 from the free-throw stripe. He’ll square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, whom he was held to seven points against in their last match-up Nov. 21.--Jesse Borek
