6 years agoDenver Nuggets point guard Monte Morris has emerged as an unheralded gem this season, reinforcing that point by recording his first career double-double during Saturday’s victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Jamal Murray sidelined, Morris earned his third consecutive start and logged a career-high 41 minutes. He used that time on the floor to produce 17 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, his third straight highly-impressive performance. Morris is a must-own as long as Denver’s backcourt remains banged up, with his next match-up coming Monday versus the Detroit Pistons.--Jesse Borek
