6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle has been ruled out for Monday’s contest versus the Indiana Pacers due to a sprained right ankle. Randle will join fellow frontcourt members Anthony Davis and Nikola Mirotic on the bench, leaving ample playing time for Jahlil Okafor, Darius Miller and Solomon Hill. Having been ruled out more than 24 hours before tip Monday doesn’t bode well for Randle’s immediate future, now set to miss his sixth straight contest. His next chance to return to action comes Wednesday versus the Chicago Bulls.--Jesse Borek
