6 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has been a rebounding savant this season, but ran up against the league’s leading rebounder in Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons on Monday. The outcome? Jokic was able to snag only a season-low three rebounds as he played just 26 minutes. The last occasion in which Jokic recorded so few boards was exactly two years prior, on Feb. 4, 2017. Denver’s MVP candidate finished with 16 points, four assists and three steals, looking to wipe the slate clean when he squares off with one of the league’s most porous units when it comes to defending centers, the Brooklyn Nets, come Wednesday.--Jesse Borek
