6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Jeff Green remained hot from the field during Monday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks, finishing with 26 points off the bench across 36 minutes. The performance marks the third consecutive effort with 20 points or more from Green, who left even more buckets on the floor, shooting 2-for-9 from deep. He also added five rebounds and five assists to his stat line, giving him arguably his best all-around effort in a Wizards uniform. His next outing comes against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, whom he has dropped 20 points on in each of their first two meetings this season.--Jesse Borek
