6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol will sit out Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves as reports surfaced earlier in the day that the club could be looking to deal the All-Star center to the Charlotte Hornets, as first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic. Without Joakim Noah and JaMychal Green also both ruled out, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ivan Rabb are expected to see the lion’s share of work down low matching up against Karl-Anthony Towns. Memphis’ next contest comes Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it’s possible that Gasol may play his next game in new colors.--Jesse Borek
