6 years agoBoston Celtics small/power forward Jayson Tatum went a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw stripe during Tuesday’s victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, en route to finishing with 25 points, his highest point total in nearly a month. Tatum took on an even bigger offensive role than usual with both Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris sidelined, delivering seven rebounds, three blocks and two assists to pad his stat line. He next squares off with the Los Angeles Lakers come Thursday, whom he was held to just two made field goals against in two combined meetings last season.--Jesse Borek
