Otto Porter Acquired By Bulls
6 years agoSmall/power forward Otto Porter has been picked up by the Chicago Bulls in a deal that will send forwards Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker in the other direction. Porter was the third overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by Washington and averaged 10.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game over five and a half seasons with the franchise. Porter will likely immediately enter the starting five for Chicago, who has been decimated on the wing this season. The Bulls next play Friday versus the Brooklyn Nets, which would be when Porter is first eligible to make his debut for his new team if the trade and physicals can be completed in time.
