6 years agoThe Toronto Raptors have reportedly traded center Greg Monroe and an undisclosed second-round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, according to a source. The deal was announced shortly after the 3:00 p.m. ET deadline, but sometimes the paperwork just gets held up and there is a delay. A move to Brooklyn is good news for Monroe, as he was going to see his fantasy stock plummet following the addition of Marc Gasol from the Memphis Grizzlies. Of course, Monroe goes to a crowded frontcourt in Brooklyn, vying for time with the established Jarrett Allen and Ed Davis. This deal doesn't really move the needle either way for Monroe.--Daniel Dobish
