6 years agoThe Sacramento Kings traded forward Skal Labissiere to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday in exchange for forward Caleb Swanigan. Labissiere entered the NBA with so much promise, and he averaging 8.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game across his first 93 games over two NBA seasons. However, he fell out of favor this season in Sacto, registering just 2.8 points and 0.3 rebounds in 13 minutes, barely playing. He'll get a chance to turn over a new leaf and get a fresh start in the Rose City, so perhaps it's not too late for him to bloom as a third-year sensation. Labissiere certainly has the length and scoring ability, and he could block some shots, too.--Daniel Dobish
