6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans shooting guard/small forward E'Twaun Moore has been ruled out for Friday’s contest versus the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a left quad contusion. Moore’s absence will likely allow Frank Jackson to continue seeing a prominent role in the team’s offense, with the rookie averaging 11.2 points per game without Moore on the scene over the last five games. Moore’s next chance to return to action comes Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies, who have held him in check in two previous outings this season.--Jesse Borek
