6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Trey Burke played his second game with his new franchise Friday versus the Milwaukee Bucks, collecting 18 points, five rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes off the bench. The performance was one of Burke’s best this season, a recall to the times he had in November for the New York Knicks when fantasy stock was at its peak. While he outdrew starter Jalen Brunson in terms of minutes Friday, it seems likely Dallas could continue to deploy Burke off the pine, although he’ll have to battle entrenched veteran Devin Harris on a nightly basis.--Jesse Borek
