6 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell scored 23 points on 8-for-21 shooting in Friday's loss to the Chicago Bulls. He added six assists as well, but was just 1-for-8 from deep. The All-Star has been a key scoring option for the Nets as of late, and Caris Levert's return from a foot injury that had kept him out for months didn't have as much of an impact on Russell's numbers as Russell's own shooting woes did. Brooklyn next plays on Monday against the Raptors; Russell has passed the 20-point plateau both times the teams have met this year, and he should be in line for a strong outing.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
