Kemba Walker Sinks Season-High Nine Triples In Win
6 years agoCharlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker continued his scoring barrage during Saturday’s victory over the Atlanta Hawks, drilling a season-high nine three-pointers en route to 37 points. The performance marks Walker’s fourth consecutive game scoring more than 30, bringing him up to an average of what would be a career-best 25.1 points per contest this season. Walker has embraced the shot from deep this season, currently fourth in the league in attempts per game (9.1), which has catapulted him to his third straight All-Star appearance and first start. He’ll have a tough task ahead of him versus Indiana on Monday, who have held opponents to the fewest points per game (103.1) this season.
