6 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Dwight Powell came close to a double-double on Sunday, finishing a 102-101 win over Portland with 13 points and eight rebounds. He logged a very good 27 minutes off the bench, shooting 3-for-6 from the field and 7-for-8 from the line. Powell has sniffed around double-doubles multiple times in recent games. Various trades have opened up playing time for him and he's taking full advantage of it. He'll try and shine again on Monday against a Rockets team that had struggled against opposing bigs ever since Clint Capela (thumb) got injured.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
