6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma fired out of the chute in Sunday's 143-120 road loss against the Philadelphia 76ers. He finished with 23 points in the first quarter, and ended up with 39 points for the day. The point total was just two short of his career best set back on Jan. 9 at Staples Center against the Detroit Pistons. This was Kuzma's seventh 30-point game of the season, and he ended the day 14-for-21 from the floor, 5-for-8 from behind the three-point line, while adding three rebounds and an assist in 32 minutes.. That's 32.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 three-pointers per game over the past two starts.--Daniel Dobish
