6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid registered 37 points to go along with 14 rebounds, three assists and a steal across 32 minutes in Sunday's 143-120 blowout victory against the Los Angeles Lakers. He hit 12-for-16 from the field, including 2-for-3 from downtown, while adding 11-for-12 from the free-throw stripe. Embiid has rolled up eight straight double-doubles, and he is averaging 29.5 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.8 blocked shots and 2.0 assists per game in four outings since flipping the calendar from January to February.--Daniel Dobish
