James Harden Goes Over 30 Points For 30th Straight Contest
6 years agoHouston Rockets point guard James Harden registered 31 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals across 36 minutes in Monday's 120-104 victory against the Dallas Mavericks. He was a rather dismal 9-for-23 from the floor, including 6-for-17 from behind the three-point line, while going 7-for-7 from the free-throw line while turning it over five times. Monday's game was the fourth time Harden scored 10 or more points in the final three minutes of regulation this season, the most in the NBA. While Harden's 30-game streak is impressive, Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain had 30 or more points in 65 consecutive games during the 1961-62 season, so 'The Beard' still has a long way to go.
