6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward/center Bobby Portis was an offensive juggernaut coming off the bench during Monday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons. Portis tied his career high by knocking down six threes on ten attempts, finishing with 24 points across 32 minutes. It’s been just three contests, but the new surroundings from his trade looks to have motivated Portis, who is averaging 21.3 PPG with D.C. There’s certainly optimism surrounding the big man, who has shown an ability to score in droves when given the opportunity, while maintaining a presence on the glass.--Jesse Borek
