6 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller was the third and final force of the Hornets offense on Monday night, as he supplemented the guard play of Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb in a loss to the Indiana Pacers. Zeller was pushing to tally a double-double but fell a rebound short as he posted a stat line of 18 points, nine rebounds and one assist. Zeller crushed his season averages of points and rebounds, and along with his nine boards he tied a game-high five offensive rebounds. The seven-foot center also had a solid night shooting, as he hit six of 11 from the field. Zeller sees action again on Thursday evening against the Orlando Magic, a series in which he is averaging 11 points this season.--Matthew.McGough
