6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Mike Muscala has been cleared for action Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks despite having missed shootaround earlier in the day due to a right ankle sprain. Muscala suffered the injury late in Sunday’s loss to Philadelphia and it appears he’ll try and give it a go, although JaVale McGee stands to see a sizable workload with Tyson Chandler (toe) ruled out. Muscala will be returning home to where he spent the first five years of his NBA career, having averaged 5.4 points per game over 243 contests with the Hawks from 2013-18.--Jesse Borek
