Trae Young Posts Huge Double-Double In Win
6 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young finished Tuesday’s victory over the Los Angeles Lakers with 22 points, 14 assists and six rebounds across a season-high-tying 38 minutes. Young, playing without Jeremy Lin as his back-up, saw an increased workload and responded marvelously. The double-double marked his 17th of his rookie campaign, having averaged 16.9 points and 7.6 assists per contest through his first 57 professional games. With Lin now playing for Toronto, it’s possible Young continues to see ample minutes when the team returns from the All-Star break, which could lead to a boost in production down the stretch.
