Patty Mills Drops Season-High 22 Points Off Bench
6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point/shooting guard Patty Mills sank a season-high six three-pointers off the bench during Tuesday’s victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. The 22 points that Mills finished with also set a new season high, while adding three assists for what was likely his best fantasy performance of the year. Mills has embraced a bench role this season with San Antonio, entering the All-Star break averaging 10.1 points and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 40.8 percent from deep. The Spurs are tied for the fewest three-pointers attempted per game (24.9), yet sit atop the league in percentage (40.9), on the backs of shooters like Mills, which make them borderline fantasy assets.
