6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge logged 22 points and 11 rebounds during Tuesday’s victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, giving him his third straight double-double. Aldridge would be in the midst of quite a streak had he not come up one rebound shy on two recent occasions, having recorded at least nine boards in each of his last nine outings. He also tied his season high with four blocks Tuesday, playing nearly the entire game at center with Jakob Poeltl seeing 13 minutes off the bench. Aldridge heads to his seventh All-Star Game on Sunday averaging 21 points and nine rebounds per contest, next taking the floor for San Antonio on Feb. 22 against Toronto.--Jesse Borek
