6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid posted a double-double in the team's home loss to the Boston Celtics, but his production was lackluster compared to the numbers he has been putting up in recent weeks. The center from Cameroon has been averaging 29 points and 14 boards over the last 10 games, but on Tuesday night he fell short with 22 points alongside his usual 14 rebounds. Embiid rounded out his night with three assists and two blocks. The final disappointment of the night for Embiid was his struggles shooting, as he shot 9-for-22 from the field and 2-for-8 from three. The third-year center will look to rebound against the New York Knicks, a team that he is averaging 25 points and 10 boards against this season in three matchups.--Matthew.McGough
