6 years agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford was close to triple-double numbers on Wednesday, finishing a 118-110 win over Detroit with 17 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. He went 6-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-5 from downtown, while sinking a pair of free throws. Horford likely would like to postpone the All-Star break as he's had back-to-back strong performances this week. The C's will be back in action next Thursday against the Bucks in what looks like a juicy matchup for Horford.
