6 years agoBoston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward continued his recent strong stretch on Wednesday against the Pistons, recording 18 points, eight assists, five rebounds and one block in 34 minutes on the floor. He shot 5-for-8 from the field and 7-for-8 from the line. Hayward has finally looked like his old self in recent games, averaging 21 points with 4.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds. These are very encouraging numbers and he could be set for a great finish to the year following the All-Star break. However, it's also worth to mention that Kyrie Irving (knee) has been on the shelf again, so Hayward has had a chance to play a bigger role.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
